I would say the key points in my career has been 1) Winning best production for my school play 'Oh What A Lovely War' 2) Being accepted on the Masters programme between RADA and King's College, London University. 3) Being mentored by women in film and television during 2011.  On reflection I realise these small successes were major milestones for me to carry on and become a feature independent film producer.

Being a woman. A mother and producer is always challenging. However it is also so rewarding in a number of ways. My imdb profile: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4451383/

I have produced from concept and executive produced feature films with government agencies and major broadcasters. Some of my credits include: 'Forget Me Not'; 'Kat and the Band'; 'The Falling'; 'Iona'; 'Pale Star'; 'Swung'; 'The Sea'.  I have worked my way through the industry for over 20 years from short films, music videos to feature films.  The landscape of content distribution is going through major changes. What is the future for independent film?  I believe where there are challenges there are opportunities.  My aim is to carry on being engaged in this fascinating industry whether that is producing, creating a streaming platform, mentoring etc.

I have mentored women in the industry and been interviewed live on Sky News on a number of occasions.
Currently, I am producing THE CROSSING with the exciting Director, Aislinn Clarke, sales agent Bankside and leading Irish producer, David Collins from Samson Films and Stella Nwimo and establishing Siren Stream an online film streaming platform aimed at women that aims to entertain, inspire and support.

I believe that irrespective of geography, age, nationality, women share common issues, life challenges and societal perceptions about us, if we understand how other women survive and thrive we will gain further confidence & self belief  and have a far greater chance of achieving our ambitions whatever they maybe. My hope with Siren Stream is that we will highlight some extraordinary films and feature exceptional women who were part of these films. We want to dig deeper to provide insight into not only how these women faced professional challenges but how they have managed personal ones as well.

In film, you always have to continue to develop self belief, confidence, value & skills and the challenges and  journey never ends - you just enjoy them more each time.
